Kate Douglass is the first athlete to receive a professional athlete sponsorship through AF Therapy, LLC. She is considered one of the most versatile and dominant swimmers in history.
In 2021, she qualified for her first Olympics, and won bronze in the 200 IM in Tokyo! 🥉
As a U.S. National Team Member, she has competed internationally in both short course and long course competitions. She competed in the World Championship meet in Abu Dhabi in 2021, FINA World Championship in Budapest in 2022, and World Aquatics Championship in Fukuoka in 2023. She has broken ACC, NCAA, American & World records individually or as part of team relays.
Kate graduated from the University of Virginia in 2023 with a bachelors degree in statistics with a minor in data science. She is currently in the Master of Science in Statistics at UVA, and training for the 2024 Olympics. During her time as an NCAA athlete, she was a 28x NCAA All-American and 15x NCAA Champion. She helped UVA win their first team NCAA National Championship in 2021, and again the consecutive years in 2022 and 2023, respectively. Kate has won 2 Honda Awards as top female collegiate swimmer, 2 College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America Awards, and 2 ACC Women’s Most Valuable Swimmer Award.
